Work In Progress - My DSLR images of Hawaii from the early 2000's when I worked and lived there, superimposed over historical images of Hawaii from the early1900's and late 1800's. In contrast most of the historical photos were shot by men of means or stature, non-natives. The process was also laborious and time consuming as photography was a new technology then. New narratives, histories, questions, and meanings are discoverable within the layered images.
